We cordially invite you to the Spring Educational Workshop of the Southeast District CODA at Lake Murray State Lodge – Ardmore, OK, on May 21-24, 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and get acquainted with other County Officers and Deputies and we hope to make this a fun and educational event.


Reservations at Lake Murray Lodge can be made by calling 580-223-6600 or toll-free at 800-257-0322. Rooms have been blocked for Southeast County Officers. Rooms in the lodge are possibly already taken. Some cabins remain with rates varying from $90 for 1 queen
bed, $96-120 for 1 queen bed & 1 queen sofa. When making reservations, be sure to mention Southeast County Officers.


The overflow hotel is the Courtyard by Marriot – Ardmore 2025 N Rockford Rd, Ardmore, OK 73401. Reservation can be made by calling 580-224-2764, ask for CODA Conference Overflow Block. Room rate of $107 per night with a cut-off date of April 9th, 2024.


Another hotel option is the newly opened Lakecrest Casino and Hotel, located 5 miles from Lake Murray Lodge. The hotel would not allow a block or accept the government rate. However, they do have rooms available the week of the conference at the room rate of $129.


Tuesday afternoon, May 21st, OSU-County Training will be offering Open Records Class from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Wednesday, May 22nd, OSU-County Training Program will have the Fundamentals of Administration Class from 9:00am – 4:00pm. To enroll go to OSU website, at http://agecon.okstate.edu/ctp/schedule.asp. OSU Class Fees will apply.


Wednesday night, there will be a vendor sponsored hospitality cabin. Thursday morning, we have a slate of speakers and programs for the meeting. The golf tournament will be at Lake Murray Golf Course Thursday afternoon. For the non-golfer, your activities will be on your own
Thursday afternoon. Friday morning, legislative breakfast buffet will be served which is included with registration. We plan to have our local legislators speak Friday morning. The state auditor’s office will also be there Friday morning for a question-and-answer session following breakfast.
